Product Details - Patagonia Women's Adze Jacket


Wicked winds, spring squalls and the bite of early March mornings – whether leading out from a hanging belay or ski touring the High Sierra, the all-new Adze does everything a soft shell should. It breathes, blocks wind and keeps quiet. Key is the Polartec® Windbloc® stretch-woven polyester shell, which deflects wind while breathing freely and moving with a soft, supple hand. The microgrid fleece interior traps heat, moves moisture and feels great next to skin, allowing total versatility with short- or long-sleeved layers. Features include two reverse-coil zippered hand pockets and one internal zippered chest pocket, hook-and-loop cuff closures and a drawcord hem to seal out the elements and seal in heat.

        This is a great jacket, which is windproof and highly wind-resistant. The jacket is light enough that I can pack into my backpack easily and have access whenever I need it. The stitching quality is very good, so it should last me for a while.

          I wear this jacket in typical Pacific NW climates (40s drizzling rain) and it is great. I have long arms and the sleeves/torso provide great coverage during activities and the fabric offers a bit of stretch for movement.

            I wear this jacket everywhere. It get a little chilly in Idaho and I use it for walks, hiking, going out in the rain, going to the store, and even snowboarding on a sunny day.
