The Norwalk is the Armada Big Mountain Weapon of Choice! With tip rocker for float and ease of turn initiation and a flat moderately stiff tail for a solid, stable, squirt proof finish to your turns or a good platform for your drops. The Norwalk has an EST All Mtn Rocker Profile, which translates into a good amount of rocker up front, a moderately long positive camber section, and almost no rocker in the tail. The ski is significantly lightened up with a Hybrid Ultralight Core, using light weight wood with preinstalled ABS layers alongside the core for strength, and FR50 Construction which is a cap at the tip and tail and sidewall underfoot. To stiffen the ski, a bidirectional fiberglass sheet overlays the core and Carbon and Kevlar Stringers are used in the tail to increase pop and extend the life of the ski. The Norwalk is for steep, variable conditions found in the Big Mountain environment. This ski wants to go Mach 5.0.
