Comments about 2013 Armada AK JJ Flat Skis:

Awesome performance in crud and powder of medium depth. 10/10 Carving was wicked as long as you drive the ski but this can be tiring. 9/10 The ski I found difficult to control in fast crud terrain with icing under snow or steep worn out runs. 3/10 The 192 is a bit long for my tight tree skiing but our glades really are very tight, so some forced jump turns required at times. 7/10 The ski tours well despite a fair bit of weight, esp with Marker Dukes which are also heavy but it is doable, the ski tips are a problem to fit a skin bail over and I had to modify my skins to make it work 6/10. The ski surprisingly does not float sufficiently well for my weight at 205lbs when snowpack is quite deep, greater than 40cm. 6/10. I was hoping for more I guess after trying a Rossi Super7 last year and loving that....also to never be able to relax on the groomers but drive the ski all the time was surprisingly tiring. I would not recommend this to a less than advanced/expert skier or someone with little leg/knee strength. Love my older Bandit 3's for that but then miss the overall length, the 192 is mostly perfect for me but the shorter version is most certainly easier, lighter and less work.
