I am generally pleased with these pants, as they are warm and comfortable but I was hoping for a more "street fit" look. They're not as puffy as most other snow pants but still pretty thick and a bit loose around the thighs. Skinny fit? Not so much. You can't really wear them from the slopes to the bar, and maybe I was foolish to think that you could. But they're attractive enough, and definitely keep me warm, so I'm not really complaining about the fit. One complaint though: the front closure is a zipper and a velcro patch. For me, the velcro kept coming undone. A hook would have been better. But this problem can be easily remedied by wearing a belt. For sizing reference, I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs. Bought size XS. They fit but were a bit too short.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
