When the sun dips and the wind kicks, nothing beats high-loft down. The Down Sweater Full-Zip Hoody features 800-fill-power down, stabilized through a quilted construction and protected by a superlight but tough, windproof and water-resistant shell (100% recycled polyester ripstop) with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Pockets: two zippered handwarmers and one interior zippered stretch-mesh that doubles as a stuffsack with carabiner clip-in loop. With a single-pull, 3-way adjustable helmet-compatible hood and a drawcord hem.

      Packable and extremely light weight. I have longer arms and torso for some jackets and this one fit me correctly. Also, unlike many warmer down jackets, this does not making you look like a big fluffy person in a jacket, because it's a good cut/design.

      Only downside is that it is not waterproof, just water resistant.

          I bought this jacket specifically for biking in cold, windy weather. It is rare to find a windproof down jacket - and especially one with a hood - Bonus. It's not waterproof, but that's ok because I wear it under a thick waterproof shell - one that can take the abuse of wearing a backpack constantly. I haven't lost a feather yet, which is quite unusual for a down jacket! Oh, it runs a little big. I am between XS and S and bought the S to layer under.

          I went skiing wearing this jacket. It was so light and comfy to ski wearing it. The jacket was just a little short in length. I wish it is a little longer covering my hip. Even though it keep me warm enough during daytime, I felt a little colder when it's windy and cold at night.

                I was disappointed with the overall fit of this jacket. I am 5'3'', 140 lbs w/an athletic build and a short waist & still the Medium was too short for me. I've seen older models of this jacket & the fit was longer. Patagonia must've changed the length of the jacket on this year's model. I wasn't expecting it to cover my backside but I was expecting it to fit below my waist, nothing worse then a draft up your back. Ironically the rest of the jacket was too big & boxy & the arms were too long so if I had sized down the jacket would have been even shorter. The Sky color was a pastel, cotton candy blue which I really didn't care for either I was expecting a darker shade. I wanted to love it-the jacket is beautifully constructed, super lightweight & so warm but for the price it had to be just right and it wasn't. Turns out the Hi-Loft Hoody in a medium fit perfectly & fit below my waist & then some! So if you're looking for a better fit with the bonus of an even warmer jacket this may be the better choice.
