I wore the jacket in a heavy wet snow storm and remained warm and dry. The jacket looked like it was drenched from the outside because the color blue became a soaking looking blue although I was actually very dry and comfortable. A woman in the lodge exclaimed to me "Oh my...look at you..you're soaked!" I explained to her that I was actually not wet at all.
