Product Details - 2013 Bataleon Whatever Snowboard
The name of this board is the answer to the question "what style of riding does this board suit?" FREESTYLE TBT guarantees and twin contact shape on the snow. The stance is centred with respect to this contact shape, so the WHATEVER feels generally just like a twin. Until you find yourself riding deep snow, tracked powder or touching down on a bombed out landing. Then a 1 cm longer nose, with transitioned TBT will feel a whole lot longer, making the landing feel more solid and carrying you through. It also helps when taking on drops in the backcountry.
FREESTYLE TBT makes the board agile at carving and buttering. BI AX laminate layers keep the board soft. Hardwood reinforcements along the insert rows of the CORE CORE give the WHATEVER mad pop. Overall the WHATEVER has a mid soft flex: Playful, but no noodle!
This board can handle anything: rails, park jumps, groomers, trashed powder fields, open faces, cliffs. WHATEVER!
