Comments about Marmot Mountain Marmot Men's Scree Pants - S12:

I have worn this all over the place, from the office, to the mountains, to around the house and it has never let me down.
Recently I took it to Grayson Highlands and was introduced to the purpose of gaiters. The pants themselves protected me from the thorns admirably and I escaped without a scratch. The pants themselves, however, got a touch beat up. (to the point where I can't wear them to work, but they are still good for everywhere else.)
Even with the abuse of mountain meadows covered with blackberry bushes, it still has no actual holes, only pulled threads.

I am accustomed to good gear (Arc'teryx, Mountain Hardwear, etc) and Marmot keeps pace with the them easily. The fact that I choose these pants above all of the rest of my gear should speak to their quality and comfort.
Gaiters are going to be among my next purchaces so this doesn't happen to any of the other pairs of these pants that I recently purchaced.

Needless to say, I love them.
