Product Details - Patagonia Women's Down With It Parka


In poetry, April is the cruelest month, but in Manhattan it's probably February. Luckily, the Down With It mixes below-zero protection with uptown style. Insulated with 600-fill-power goose down, this knee-length parka has a 2-way front zip and an adjustable, removable hood. The shell is 100% recycled polyester treated with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Pockets: zippered on-seam handwarmers and a zippered interior chest pocket.

        I've had this coat all winter and it's been great in the cold weather. It's very insulated and lightweight. Anything above the mid-thirties, it might make you a little too hot.

                I love this jacket. Perfect for walking around and commuting to work on a cold day. I think it runs a little bit large. I typically am between a x-small and small and the x-small fit perfectly. The sleeves and jacket are the perfect length and not too bulky. It hits just above my knee (I'm 5'6). I haven't used it in wet weather yet but it works great in dry conditions.
