Product Details - Patagonia Women's Better Sweater Jacket


While weighing the merits of traditional fleece and wool, we discovered a fabric that combines the best qualities of both. The richly textured, cross-dyed fabric of our Better Sweater Jacket has a soft fleece interior and a heathered sweater-knit face that resists pilling. Soft and smooth micropolyester jersey trims the wind flap, cuffs, hem and pockets. With a stand-up collar and zipper garage, zippered handwarmers, interior drop-in pockets and a zippered left-sleeve pocket.

    I love the style and the fit was a less fitted then other Patagonia products!! Just be careful when washing this. Mine shrunk and I could no longer wear it after putting it in the dryer.

    this sweater doesn't protect you from the elements, but it's so cozy and warm that i wear it all the time anyways. sometimes i find myself putting my hands in the pockets just to feel the buttery soft lining!

    This sweater is definitely a high quality product and looks great. However the fit is very snug and not very comfortable, the collar is also sort of stiff and pokes you in the neck when the zipper is closed. I get very hot in it really quickly, so it is only suitable for very cool conditions. For both reasons I can't really see myself go hiking in it.

                Wear it almost every day since getting it. Keeps me warm under my winter jacket and is easy to shed if I get too warm inside. Since it looks more like a jacket, I feel like I can get away with wearing it so much, which you really couldn't with a sweater. Plus it holds up to all the wear. No pilling. Love this jacket so much that I plan to get another in different color.
