      I first bought the Khumbu vest and fell in love with it so I decided to try the jacket. It was one of the best decisions I have made to survive the San Francisco weather. It's not overly warm and its very lightweight, which makes it perfect for SF. I wash it inside out because one of the issues with the fabric is that it pills. I've learned my lesson from the Khumbu vest I bought. I ended up buying 3 jackets because the price was so amazing.

            This was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, however after having her try it on to make sure the fit was comfortable, it may not make it under the Christmas tree so many months from now! She is very pleased with the fit, comfort and color (Twist Orange). She says she'll save it for her "good" jacket and wear it for special occasions and church because it is too pretty to risk getting dirty! I may have to purchase a darker color for her to wear everyday!
