Before I bought the Breeze GTX, I thought my Lowa was the best fit for me. At half the price I have gotten twice the use. They cannot be beat in value, quality and comfort.

I use the boots for hiking, hunting, camping and wheeling. I have had 3 pairs of them over the years. I know this boot and how to use it to its best. I can get 2 years out of them if I use them 20-30 days of high activity level. I like them since they are waterproof and lightweight. The support is great for regular trail hiking but not off the trail sidehilling. I would say these boots need a rubber rand on the toe at minimum. The one thing I hate about these boots is that they get fine dirt and sand between the leather and the gortex and make it feel like there are rocks in your shoes. I wash the layer out extensively on a monthly basis to get this silt out. If you dont it will make the goretex leak. great boot just have to know how to get the most out of them. I am thinking of making a change but my feet are finicky and these boots always fit, they just don't last.
