Product Details - Patagonia Men's Powder Bowl Jacket


Like a winter storm warning, our Powder Bowl abounds with promise. It's our most versatile hard shell for riding anywhere in any condition. Made with GORE-TEX® Performance Shell technology, the 2-layer shell includes a GORE-TEX® membrane bonded to a durable polyester fabric for absolute waterproof/breathable protection. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish increases wet-weather performance and keeps the shell from saturating. The brushed polyester mesh lining wicks moisture and pit zips quickly release heat. The Optimal Visibility Hood™ is helmet-compatible and has a laminated visor. Touch Point System™ embedded cord locks in the hood and hem allow for quick adjustments and a clean, dangle-free design. Other details include coated, watertight Slim Zip zippers, a fully featured powder skirt and a pleated cuff gusset.

  • Touch Point System™ embeds cord locks in the hood and hem to offer quick adjustability and seal out snow (Patent No.US05263202)
  • Slim Zip installation with watertight coated zippers for reduced zipper bulk and weight
  • Pit zips quickly release heat; pleated gusset comfortably secures cuff, over or under gloves, with less bulk
  • Powder skirt is adjustable and fully featured; webbing loops connect to any Patagonia® Ski/ Snowboard Pants to keep the snow out and the skirt down
  • Pockets: Two handwarmers, one chest, one bicep, two interior drop-ins and one interior zippered pocket with key clip; includes secure media pocket with cable routing
  • Shell: 2-layer, 4.6-oz 150-denier 100% polyester with waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX® Performance Shell technology and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Lining: torso: 100% brushed polyester mesh; sleeves: 100% polyester mesh; powder skirt and hood: 2-oz 100% polyester plain weave

    I bought the women's version of this jacket for my daughter and liked it so much I got the Men's one for myself. I was looking at much more expensive jackets, but this one was perfect and great value.

      Overall, very nice coat. Fit is slighlty large, but works well with layers. I'm 6 feet 185 lbs and got the large. Sleeves are a touch long.

        I bought this jacket two years ago, and then I misplaced it. I loved it so much I purchased another one to replace it. The cost on O2 was great, and the jacket has performed awesome. I ski in it, wear it outside on cold mornings when I have bus duty (at school) when it is snowing/raining/windy.
