When your days consist of chasing a front hitting Silverton, a northwest flow pounding Snowbird and a Mount Baker epic, you'll need a jacket that's dialed for every condition. Our versatile Insulated Powder Bowl resists the full spectrum of atmospherics, from cold snaps to Sierra drizzle. Waterproof/breathable 2-layer GORE-TEX® Performance Shell technology is bonded to an ultra-durable 100% polyester shell fabric. Treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to slough snow, it has a separate lining inside for durability and moisture control. Compressible insulation that stays warm when wet provides lightweight, efficient warmth on the coldest days. Touch Point System™ embedded cord locks in hood and hem are easy to adjust. Finer points include a helmet-compatible, 2-way adjustable, zip-off Optimal Visibility Hood™, a fully featured powder skirt, pit zips and Slim Zip watertight, coated zippers.

        I bought this jacket for skiing, and it's great. I'm normally a large and a large fits well (6'0" 175#). It's comfortable and moves with me when I'm active. Very waterproof. I use it around town in 20-40 F. Lots of functional pockets, good powder skirt keeps cold air (and snow) out. A great purchase, I'm glad I bought it.

        I'm 6'1", 200 lbs with very long arms. Finding clothes and coats with long enough sleeves is a chore. The sleeve on this coat are almost too long. I originally purchased the Large, but it didn't have enough room in the shoulders. Returning the coat was easy. Once I provided O2gear with the tracking number, they ship out the XL coat. I love all the pockets on this coat and the quality is top notch.

        This is a great ski jacket. I did a lot of research before buying it, and determined this was the best jacket for my needs. It is insulated, but I just got back from one of the warmest ski days I've ever had and I didn't over heat. Plus the huge pit zips and other venting would have been there for me if I had. The collar is large enough that I have retired my neck gaitor, and can easily zip it up and down to protect my face with changing wind and snow conditions. I had to search really hard to find a con for this jacket but the only one I could come up with was that there is now pocket/window for a season pass as most ski jackets seem to have (not exactly a deal breaker). Definitely go a size down than you usualy wear, especially because its not a shell and you won't need at much space underneath for layering.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Nice Gore-Tex jacket, great for skiing or just on any cold day. It is insulated, so if you're more accustomed to shell jackets with the ability to control how many layers to wear underneath, then go for the one that is not insulated.

        I usually wear medium for most other brands, but for this one, I had to return because the medium size was too big. Small fits just fine. Returning the product at O2GearShop was very smooth, no hassles.
