Product Details - Patagonia Women's Down Sweater Jacket


Springtime shaded belays at the Creek, predawn starts in the Canadian Rockies and hut tours in the High Sierra: Anyplace brisk, the Down Sweater delivers minimal weight, superb compressibility and high-loft warmth. The polyester ripstop shell with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish does more than look sharp; it's tear-resistant, windproof and made from 100% polyester. Details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, a quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack and has a carabiner clip-in loop. Nylon-bound elastic cuffs and drawcord hem seal in warmth.

    I love how lightweight this jacket is and yet how warm it keeps me. It's easy to take along as an extra layer and store without bulk. It's perfect for my morning walks to keep the chill away, and it blocks wind quite well too. I wear this jacket everywhere when it's cold out and I want to stay toasty warm.

      I wear this jacket almost every day. It is so comfortable. I have fairly short arms, so I expected the sleeves to be longer, but they do seem to be longer than most jackets. The length is great. The price was $80 less than competitors!
