Blustery cold can't deter the Downtown Loft Jacket from taking on butterfly spins and toe loops at the outdoor ice rink. The 800-fill goose-down insulation keeps you warm while the coat's satin polyester shell treated with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish blocks out wind and moisture. With elegant contoured quilting and an articulated hood that stealthily stows into a shawl collar. The 2-way zipper has a wind flap; the zippered on-seam handwarmer pockets and interior chest pocket stash must-haves. Length falls at hip.

Not for Minnesota Winters

This jacket is really cute, but since it's down, I was expecting more of a winter coat. There's no way I could wear this in the winter in Minnesota -- I would freeze! It would be good for the fall or spring here, but down is more of a winter look. If you live in a warmer climate, this jacket might work for winter. It would be good for travel because you could squish it into a suitcase. I like the hood and the zippered pockets, and it fits well. It's just not practical for me. One other downside is that the arms are just open; there aren't cuffs or anything, which isn't really practical for winter. Also, it's a bit spendy for a coat this thin.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
