Product Details - Arc'teryx Men's Stingray Jacket


     This versatile storm proof jacket is designed for on-area laps and has been upgraded with a lightly insulated GORE-TEX® Soft Shell textile that is both supple and more durable. Performance features include articulated shaping for athletic mobility, a helmet compatible Drop Hood™ with stealthy one-handed adjustability, and a laminated powder skirt with gripper elastic.

    Was looking at gore-tex shells for skiing to replace my old great North Face. I had pretty much decided on a Patagonia powder bowl. I had tried on the Stingray too and loved it, but it was $100 more. Both were exceptional quality jackets and both fit me well in XL (me 6'3"-215). Found the Stingray on o2 for almost the same as the sale priced powder bowl and pulled the trigger. The construction and attention to detail is impressive. The arms are longish which is good for me. I am surprised how light and flexible this is compared to my old shell. Pair it with some good layers and you are ready for anything.
