Product Details - 2013 K2 A.M.P Force Skis w/ M3 10.0 Bindings
The K2 A.M.P Force is a great ski for the mellow intermediate or the athletic beginner. At 74 mm in the waist it is very quick edge to edge, and has a very forgiving construction for someone who is not too aggressive on their skis. The Composite Core and Cap Construction do not require a lot of force or power, to get the ski to react. The Force is made with K2s Catch Free Rocker (rocker in the tip, camber underfoot, and slight tail rocker) is designed for developing skiers. The rocker in the tip gives you easy turn initiation, at slow speeds, stability through the middle of the turn, and an easy exit out of your turn. A Glass Web is woven over the core of the ski, for increased torsional rigidity, for a more forgiving ride with out adding extra weight. The K2/Marker M3 Binding System is perfect for recreational skiers. A new Compact Toe, a fixed Compact 2 heel make the ski lighter, and generate more power, and make the ski quicker underfoot. The K2 Mod Monic Dampening System is a zinc mass that is mid way through the shovel, and helps smooth out the negative vibrations that are caused by firm snow or speed. If your are looking for a lightweight easy ski to ski, force yourself to get the K2 Force.
