The polyester ripstop shell on this down jacket does more than look sharp; it’s tear-resistant, windproof and made from 100% polyester. Details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, a quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack with a carabiner clip-in loop. Nylon-bound elastic cuffs and drawcord hem seal in warmth, and the Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds moisture.

I bought this at a good deal from o2gearshop for my wife who was going to be traveling to New York and other places around February-March. She is someone who has a very low threshold for cold...she gets the shivers even when the mercury is in the low 20s (celcius) (i.e. around 70F) and it is very hard to find something that keeps her warm. This jacket finally turned out to be something that she felt warm in even when it was cold outside for her otherwise. The 800-fill goose down does the job well. The only worry is that some feathers come out intermittently with use. Not sure if that is normal for any kind down jacket or not! Also sizing was a bit tricky. She usually wears S but for this she had to exchange to XS.
