        I am a former racing cyclist, now much older, but still reasonably strong, and very enthusiastic. Finally came time to replace my 13 yr old Carnacs. They owed me nothing. Read many, many reviews, and talked to lots of people. The Factors sounded good, but having a wide foot, I was a little nervous about the fit. Got them out of the box, and they really are the best fitting shoes (maybe of any kind) I have ever had. The swap-able soles are great.

        As far as performance is concerned, these things are light, especially coming from my old Carnacs. They are stiff as all get-out, and comfortable. Unless these things self destruct in a year, I am VERY pleased. Highly recommended.
